Faith Lutheran Church

a Christ-centered, welcoming, faith community

Mission Statement:

To be a faith-community created by God in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called and sent to bear witness to God’s creative, redeeming and sanctifying activity in our community and in the world.

Activities & Events

We raise up our friend, Connie Mattson — Our homebound and nursing home members are often so isolated that your phone call, visit, even a card can mean the difference between lonely existence and continued life in our faith community. What can you do? Please reach out to those who have been such a vital part of our congregation.

All Saint’s Sunday – There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex for family members or friends who have passed away in the last year; please write their names and we will remember them on All Saints Sunday, November 3rd.

Stewardship Pledge Cards – We will have pledge cards available at narthex on October 6th. Prayerfully consider your percentage and write it down on the card. Bring the sealed envelope to the altar for the Pastor to bless the offering during worship service on Pledge Card Sunday which is October 27th.

Stewardship Month October 6th – October 27th We begin a special Temple Talk during the month of October that celebrates the ways by which God is working through all of us together for the good of our community. We pray you will make plans to be with us every Sunday of this month.
1. October 6th – Gratitude and different ministries of Faith
2. October 13th – Benevolence around the world (Worldwide ELCA Churches)
3. October 20th – Financial status and thank you note
4. October 27th – Pledge Card Sunday

Bible Study  – As we enter the fall season we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a new bible study. In order to tailor the study to the interest of our members, we ask that you participate in a survey that will help us gather feedback on topics of interest, preferred times, and dates. Keep an eye out for the survey and take a few moments to share your preferences. Your participation will help us create a meaningful and engaging bible study for all.

Flower Arrangement: If you would like to have special flowers on the altar in honor of a birthday, memory, or anniversary, please contact Lily Randall to make arrangements.
